Air Jordan. So like, everyone I know has the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Shadow 2.0 at this point. It's the one that just keeps showing up. The colorway works, the silhouette's been around forever, and at €280.19 it kind of sits in that spot where you're not overpaying for hype but you're not exactly finding a bargain either. The Shadow 2.0 specifically... it's fine. Black and grey tones are pretty safe. Not going to clash with anything. The OG High cut gives you that ankle support thing that the Dunk High Sanddrift (€278.92) also does, except the Jordan feels more intentional about it somehow. More structured. Compared to the Skyline version at €240.82, you're paying a bit more for the Shadow's color palette. If you want to save money, the Skyline works. But the Shadow 2.0 has this quieter confidence to it that I guess resonates with most people I encounter. It's not the Air Force 1 Low Valentine's Day Fleece (€185.88) either, which is cheaper but feels like a different thing entirely. One thing though. The retro releases feel slightly more manufactured these days. Like, they're still solid construction, but there's something that falls short of the original energy. Still, if the Shadow 2.0 is what everyone around you wears, there's probably a reason for that. It just works.

Dunk High Sanddrift falls into that earth-tone space where it's trying. But Jordan 1 retros just... they stick around in people's rotations longer. Nike's doing solid work with the women's line, don't get me wrong, but if the choice is "safe classic" versus "safe but trendier," the classic wins. Air Jordan brand carries different staying power.

Yeah, though honestly the Shadow 2.0 colorway does enough different that it doesn't feel like pure repetition 👟 Like, rotation staple is real, but some people might find it a bit safe at €326.93. Either way it lands.
